I want to offer my condolences to the Denmark family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death. Death is so painful that even Jesus, when Lazarus died, "gave way to tears"(John 11: 35). Our heavenly Father of tender mercies has given us comfort through the scriptures. He calls death an enemy and will be taken away forever (1 Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 25:8). Notice this promise he has given to awaken our love one from sleep in death. Hosea 13:14 “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them.” I hope these words give you comfort and hope.
