Bentley’s Funeral Home was founded in 1923 by the late Deacon J.E. Bentley Sr. and his wife Mrs. Ida Carson Bentley in Reynolds, Georgia. Their motto; “Let me stand by the side of the road and be a friend to man” became the foundation on which their business has stood for generations.

Bentley-Carson Memorial Funeral Home of Cordele, Georgia was established when Mrs. Lockhart and her late husband Mr. Abraham Lockhart moved here in the 1990's.
As of 2015 the Bentley-Carson went through a traumatic change and decided to change the way of the business and thrive and achievement new things. They changed the name to The New Bentley-Carson Memorial Funeral Home. Serving under new leadership like Clinton Tony Perry.
