I would like to send my condolences to the family and let you know that you are in my prayers. I worked with James for just a brief time and he and my brother (A C Cawthon) were friends. I am sorry that I could not attend the service but my husband had his home going service the same day and hour. I know some of what you must be going through. Keep your eyes on God for your strength and comfort.

Wow, I guess I am still in shock as I am sure most people are. James was a rare breed but his athleticism, even into his latter years, always impressed me. Always felt a special connection with both of us being the father of 3 boys, which is why it always meant a lot to hear him say how proud he was of me as a father.
