Mr. Isaiah Crawford of Cordele, Georgia passed away on April 7, 2020, in the Crisp Regional Hospital of Cordele, Georgia.
The graveside funeral service to be attended by 10 immediate family ONLY will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020, at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.
U.S. Army Specialist (E4) Isaiah Crawford was born on November 3, 1958, in Cordele, GA, to the late father and mother, Eugene and Josephine Crawford. During his life, he was educated in the Crisp County School System. He was a Crisp County High School graduate of 1976. Isaiah was so dedicated to his life and country, he enlisted himself in the United States Army where he served for many years, receiving an honorary discharge as a U.S. Army Specialist (E4).
Following his military career, he later went to Albany Technical College and earned a degree specialist in Diesel Mechanic and Refrigeration Technician in Type I and Type II. Isaiah was a faithful member to the Zion Hope Baptist Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, barbecue and spending time with his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews.
On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, our beloved one, Isaiah Crawford, was called home to bring more glory to God’s Kingdom. He is preceded in death by his mother Josephine Crawford, father Eugene Crawford, and sister Liza Mae Barrett.
Isaiah leaves to cherish his life and memories: his loving sisters; JoeAnn Crawford and Arline Cray of Warner Robins, Ga.; Charlene Pope of Cordele, Ga; Myosha Crawford of Bonaire, Ga.; his loving brothers; Robert (Joyce) Crawford of Pooler, Ga; Edward Crawford and Roosevelt Walker of Cordele, Ga.; and James (Rosalyn) Crawford of Spanaway, Wa. ; and his aunts; Julia Mae Risby and Josephine Crawford. He also leaves a lot of special nieces and nephews; Chelsey, Chasidy, Katrina, Yaisha, Samantha, Antavius, Antonio, Shayla, Deevis, Tameka, Trinika, Kendrick, Shabreka, Sharreka, Anthony, James Jr., Lekeisha, Deone, and Charles Jr.; a host of devoted cousins, Willene McGill, Keith McGill; and many friends; Pastor Lorenzo Ray.
