Mr. Otis Lee Woodson was born in Cordele Crisp County Georgia to
the late Pomeroy King and Ms. Betty Sue Woodson Rogers, on June 28, 1961.
He attended Crip County Public School System.
He was baptized at Gethsemane Baptist Church.
Otis departed his external life on May 23, 2019, after a period of illness. He was
a Miami Dolphins Fan.
He is preceded in death by his father, Pomeroy King and his sister, Sylvia
D.King.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted mother, Betty Sue
Rogers; his daughter, O’Kedria Woodson; three children he raised as his own,
Shaniqua Brown, Rodngus Luckey and Shuntavius Lucky; one grandson,
Torique Dixon; one sister, Deborah D. King; two brothers, Anthony (Valerie)
King and Bernard King; aunts and uncles, Ellen Appling, Delois Barnes,
Patricia (Chester) King, Henry (Liz) Woodson, Johnny Lee Smith, James
(Dorothy) Smith, Peggy Henry (Loroza) Henry, Cicil (James) Daniels, Patricia
(Howard) Holden, Barbara King, Diane (George) Jenkins, and Marilyn (James)
Mumphery, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special friend, Melinda
Lucky.
