Mr. Charles Mercer of 114 West 20th Avenue Cordele Georgia passed on May 1, 2020, at the Crisp Regional Hosptial of Cordele, Ga.

Remains were cremated.

Charles was educated in Crisp County Schools. He always had faith in God, because God protected him driving a tractor trailer over 50 years for different companies. God made it possible for Charles Mercer to drive home for the last time.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Peral Mercer, and father, Charlie Lee Mercer.

He leaves to mourn: brothers, Jessie L. (Gloria) Mercer of Cordele, GA, and M.C. Mercer of Nashville, TN; sister, Pauline Mercer Brown of Cordele, GA; sons, Adrian (Shermeka) Mercer, and his mother, Teresa, and Little Charles Mercer, Jr., and his mother, Mary Faye; wonderful nieces, Valeroe, Rene, Maria and Jessica; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
