Bentley Carson Memorial Funeral Home
Betty Grif fin was born on February 23,1946
to the late Willie Mae Barron and Willie Freddie
Barron.
Betty fulfilled all the roles and more, from being a
mother, grandmother, to a friend. She was a woman
of extreme strength, courage, and love. Someone who
had a heart of gold and was willing to help anybody
who was in need. The ability to put others before
herself gave her the most joy out of life, especially the
ones whom she loved. Her generosity with her time,
energy, and advice, in so many other ways, provided
invaluable support to a number of people. Her hard work and determination alone
provided motivation for others that looked up to her. She was a woman who never let
the word “can’t” control or determined the route she wanted to take in life. Although
it wasn’t an easy life she lived, it was one she enjoyed.
She was preceded in death by two children, Freddie and Andrea.
She was a mother of five: and leave to cherish her memories Bobby, Kennth, Angela;
four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mittie Dennard and Louise
Barron; and a host of other family and friends.
